CGC /STAR Training
This is the AKC's (American Kennel Club, www.akc.org) certification indicating that your dog has good manners both at home and out in the community.
The CGC is a two part program that stresses responsible ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs.
All dogs who pass the 10 step CGC test may receive a certificate from the AKC.
Obedience Training
Obedience is a critical skill for all dogs, especially those living in high density population areas, such as Houston.
Obedience training teaches commands necessary for peaceful co-habitation such as:
Walk with you on a leash without pulling,
Sit and lay down on command,
Recalls (come back)
Non-jumping
Gently taking a treat
Leave it
